Mons Hotel location and access
LOCATION OF THE MONS HOTEL
The Ljubljana Mons Hotel and congress centre is next to the western Ljubljana bypass (EXIT Brdo), in the embrace of woodland, boasting excellent access to and from Ljubljana Airport and the city centre, from which it is just 5km. It is at the crossroads of Slovenia’s main traffic routes and, simultaneously, Europe’s motorway network.
ACCESS TO THE HOTEL FROM THE MOTORWAY
The Mons Hotel is most easily reached from the motorway, as it is directly on Ljubljana’s Western bypass. When driving along it, watch out for the Brdo exit (between the Ljubljana Šiška / Bežigrad exit and the motorway to Koper). Once you have left the motorway, follow road signs for the centre of Ljubljana – you will reach a crossroads with these road signs immediately after the exit. After about 100 metres, you will see a sign for the hotel on your right, which marks the access road to the hotel. The road leads you right, somewhat uphill.
ACCESS TO THE HOTEL FROM THE CENTRE OF LJUBLJANA
Should you be heading towards the hotel from the centre of Ljubljana, the easiest route is past the parliament, from where you follow signs for Ljubljana Zoo. Once you get to the zoo, follow signs for the Mons Hotel – turn left at the first junction after the zoo, drive through the woodland and turn right at a junction 500 metres later, having passed a smaller bridge (sign for the Mons Hotel and motorway). From here, you will see a hotel sign in a couple of minutes, which marks the access road to the hotel. The road leads you right, somewhat uphill.
