Let me start with the "thank you" for the hospitality of your hotel. I will write a review on tripadvisor."I was so amazed of the hotel, location, staff and services that I forgot my GPS charger plugged-in in the room. Also my mind is still in the room 136 looking to the trees and hearing the meteor dust falling from the sky, :-) " This was by far the best surprise we (me and ny wife) got during our short and bad weather vacation in Hungary (Balaton), Italy (in Pesaro) and Ljubljana. Saw the hotel coming from Trieste in a snow storm, after driving on the highway 90km's for almost 5 hours. The hotel is by the motorway. The position is very convenient. We gave it a try. Fantastic friendly staff. They accommodated us, we had the option of choosing the room. The hotel room was big, very clean and the bathroom immense. Bed is high elevated from floor, king size, like in the luxury hotels in the States. Windows, very large, and they were heading to the forest. Still, by the motorway, so quiet inside the room. I made few pictures to the snow on the trees near-by. It was surreal. Very good isolation, very efficient heat and ventilation control. You cannot hear when the fan was working. Internet at hi-speed, and a large desk beside to a large LCD TV set hanged on the wall in front of the bed. Restaurant, top notch. I ate a steak like in Texas. Melts in your mouth. Do not hesitate to order one. You cannot go wrong. Restaurant can compete with finest places in Europe When we left, next day, I spoke with Urska. She was so friendly, and I heard that she is the marketing staff representative. Smarter than to make you fill-up templates, she was talking with me to check what else has to be done in order to improve hotel’s service. One other important aspect want to bring it up. I forgot my GPS charger in the room. They got my address and they sent the stuff by mail to my house. Now, how many hotels will do that? How many hotels make you feel like a king? A+ for this hotel. I will strongly recommend it and no doubt we will go back again. They are so many gourmet plates we must check!!!

I don't think we met you in our brief stay at the Mons Hotel. However I wanted to pass on our thanks to all of the reception staff that we came into contact with over the 2 days at the hotel. We were travelling with my wife's parents who have stayed at many hotels around the world (as we have) and I can honestly say that the standard of service we received from your colleagues was probably the best we have experienced anywhere both in Europe and the USA. Although we arrived early your colleague escorted us to a quiet area and provided free coffee and tea as our room was not ready. They were also very understanding when we asked whether we could swap rooms (as we needed a shower not a bath). This made us feel so valued and cared for as customers - my wife's parents mention what fantastic service the Mons provided every time we see them. As you know we had the romantic package and we wanted to say how beautifully the room had been prepared and we thoroughly enjoyed the effort that the hotel had made to make our stay a pleasant one. The breakfast was also the best we have received from any hotel in Europe - those mushrooms were fantastic!! Your high standard of customer service have actually saved you money because when we checked out the initial bill we were given was only half that we were expecting. We could have just kept quiet and made a saving but because we had received such wonderful service we felt it only right that we should mention this to the receptionist that we felt you were undercharging us (by 200 euro!!) . She then corrected the bill. This was our third visit to Slovenia and we love the country so much I am sure we will come back many more times in the years to come. Please can you let all the reception staff know how impressed we were with their attitude and professionalism and for making our stay so memorable. Thanks
